I clamped it to a table and bent it with some pliers.

Depends on how thick of material you're making it from. Mine is out of 1/8" and I had to clamp it to the table and bend the sections. I had to reposition it several times for the different bends. Both sections where the card sits broke as I was bendig it and had to be welded. I cut a second one out of 16 gauge to see how we'll it does being bent. I only need one, but I've had a few requests already from customers that want one, but the 1/8" was a pain in the butt.

Hi Everybody.
It seems the bending part is a little bit of an issue.
Here are some hints. Don't use 11ga material.
14ga or 16ga is more than enough.
If you absolutely want to use 1/8 or 3/16 material
heat up the weak spots with a flame. You wouldn't even
need a glove.

Been experimenting with different finishes and came up with this one. Still done with a torch, but different process to get the marbling effect.

Thank you soo much!!! This is a fantastic idea and very functional and very attention grabbing! I made two holders for a networking night for two small organizations and they went nuts over them. Thanks again and check out the metal cutouts...
