Tree of Life

Post by rkeytek »

Something I have been meaning to cut out for a while.
Its drawn at 18 inch diameter, but can be scaled up, though this is the smallest I would take it

Nice!
I like the Bedliner 'textured' look...That reminds me I have a gallon of tint-able liner I'm not using...hmmm

How long does it take to be a contributing member? I paid the 20 bucks and I was hoping to be able to get the FFA DFX soon. Thanks

Felt I was ready to cut a tree of life and tried this one... That's really a fantastic file. I sized it to 30" and made a few small adjustments and it cut beautifully. Thanks for the file.

Can you tell me what kind of paint you used. I've been trying to figure out how to do this kind of art but can't figure it out. I looked up translucent candy and came up with powdercoat and airbrush paint. Anyway I was hoping you could help me out.
Thanks,
Mike

You can find some translucent paints in an auto parts store, but the colors are limited. You also would need a good polish of the metal before to get the effect shown above.
