Clock designs

Post by elkriverfab »

Hey everybody,

My wife just told me she wants me to make clocks for everybody in her family this year

This may seem like an easy task but I am up to 10 and counting so far.

Does anyone have any clock designs out there????

If so that would be great, I will keep drawing anyway.

Thanks everybody.

I think it would be hard to get the numbers straight on a clock design? Dont think I've ever really seen one on here. Anyway.........this is all I have.

I got my clock parts off of ebay a few years ago. time to use them now.

There is a lady on ebay that sells them in boxes of 10 or 15 sets for a real good price.

After seeing what hobby lobby and other stores sell them for, ebay was the way to go.

Thanks! I just cut a few clocks this weekend from this thread. I drew up a small mount as shown in the photos. I hope someone can use it.

Great idea on the mount, I've never liked the one on the motor.

Thanks

Ya, great for particle board, but a piece of 14ga is tough on that little hanger.

I have a a westminster chime w/pendulum movement that I want to work into a clock. The movement is a "hi Torque" that uses a C battery, so I can get pretty large with the clock, maybe even freestanding. Anyone have any ideas??
