Snoopy & The Great Pumpkin

Post by Jfile »

Would someone mind taking a look at this drawing and see if you see any obvious mistakes before I attempt to cut please? This is my first trace and I'm not really sure how some of these cuts will play out. For example, the lines on the leaves on each side of the pumpkin... will the torch just make a pass and cut the line the width of the kerf or will it ignore a line that is just standing alone like that?

I do think that I need to go back and adjust those cuts inside of the pumpkin. The ones that run vertical on each side. They seem to measure almost a 1/2 inch wide and I think they should be about 1/4 inch wide.

Anyway, this was my first trace and I'm not very confident in it so I hate to waste a 2 foot piece of metal if there are obvious mistakes.

Thank you in advance for any feedback or advice.

Looks good to me - not sure how your software will handle it but there were a few paths that didn't quite make it to join up and a couple places where there were some extra nodes but overall it would probably cut just fine.

Here it is after I did the little minor cleanup in case you want to compare.
