Deadpool

Post by MeanMichi »

Hey guys & gals!

First time contributing! I was requested to make deadpool for someone so I drew him up. He cuts best at 20+ inches in height!

I cut him out of 16 gauge cold rolled. I'm still kind of new to this so it may not be the best, but thought someone may like him :-)

nicely done, if you really wanted it to POP you could explode the drawing and cut separate parts, paint them like you did but attach them in layers.
attached is a sample not completely finished but should give you the Idea.

Thanks for that! I hadn't thought of doing it in layers, and that would probably make the painting process easier as well!

Here are some examples of one I did, I also have a video tutorial showing how I did in with Inkscape I can send via the Google drive. You can do the same lettering for signs. If you want it PM me your email address (Yahoo address will not work,)Yahoo and Google do not play nice with each other :? )

That's awesome. Did you glue the layers on?

I use 3 different ways to attach the parts to the background. There is an adhesive called Goop (home depot, Lowe's) it is very sticky and flexible.
I have used a super glue that is a medium consistency and I have used a double sided tape (cell phone screen attachment tape) like this pick your width.
