Red Fish or Red Drum

Post by saighusa »

Here is a Red Fish or Red Drum. I used a patina and clear coat on this fish.

Ok question did you use a scribe to mark the mouth, gills, and some of the scales on the fish. as the white behind does not show through? :o

It looks just like a single kerf cut. From slight angle you won’t see through.

Thanks Larry still not convinced  You may be correct, but after studying the image it appears the picture was taken straight on.
Look carefully and you can make out a dress and legs reflected from the picture taker
Maybe saighusa will solve the question :)

The mouth, gills, scales, fish are all cut using a fine cut nozzle. Sorry about the slow reply. I get a .037 kerf using it.

Forgot to add; you can see on the pcm or dxf these are cut paths. Thanks.

Love the patina color! I airbrushed mine and the color was more orange. I couldn't find the copper transparent color. I will have to keep in mind of patina. Great Job!

For some reason when I load this into Command CNC I see all the code but not the fish, and when I press run nothing happens. This is the only file it's happened to me with. Any ideas? It loads into plasmacan fine, I set all my layers and operations like any other file. No idea what's going on.
