Thanks. Any good welders on here have any tips on welding sequence so it doesn't twist like a pretzel? My brain usually tells me the exact opposite way to weld it.

Maybe tig weld just the outside tab inserts, then lay a piece of one inch over it and clamp it down till it cools, it shouldnt twist that bad, if you dont have any one inch, use some aluminum 1/4 plus thick and clamp it to a table, it will draw the heat out quicker.

thats what i wasgoing to do just weld the outside off the tabs and maybe tac the ends

The last one looks like the certiflat kits that I bought, which I really like.

Edit: I found your other thread and grabbed the file for those. It will be great to be able to make more and save some money.

Thank for sharing, the adjustable one looks like it will definitely come in handy, I may have to get 10 or 12 of those cut
