Post by schmaus »

I modified the table posted here to fit my needs. I drew it for 1/4" but have not cut it yet so i would test fit the slot and tabs.

I haven't cut it yet. My table still has my router on it. I haven't finished my downdraft cabinet yet. This file is just a modified one I found on this site.

This file will definitely not be able to be assembled as is. The tolerances just arent there. You need to do a bit of adjusting and testing depending on the true thickness of you materials. Slots need to be widened and deeper. Also being that plasma leaves a noticable taper, the holes on this table will not work 100%. Drop in tools require a tight fit and straight walls so they dont wobble. This file can work if you put a little work to match your material, but dont expect it do be as good as a milled top or even laser.
