I'm doing a custom gate for a friend and I thought you guys might like this design. I bought an old windmill off craigslist and took the bearing housing apart. Going to mount it the gate in the center of this dxf. Still thinking about mounting it firm because im not sure if itll like a cross-wind, as a windmill is suppossed to face the wind. We get up to 60mph gusts around here. Little worried about it ripping off or spinning so fast that it tears apart. Any windmill experts here? lol.....anyway.
