needing some help with a roof logo

this is a buddy business and he wife wants me to cut this for him for fathers day. I'm still new at this and needing some help.

Here are 3 different ways to do it. You can cut out the parts and attach them to a background, or cut the parts out of a single sheet.
I attached the smaller roof parts with bridges to have them stay in. Or you can cut all the parts and layer them.

You've got two choices- cut the blue pieces our as positives and attach them to a backer, or cut the blue as negatives, leaving the white solid. The second option will be easier than getting a bunch of individual letters to all line up on the backer, but you'll have to create tables on the R's and O's, as well as on the white sections inside the roof, to keep them from dropping out.

NOT SURE HOW TO CHANGE SVG TO DXF ??

Well if you had Inkscape, or QCAD both free and I'm sure others you open the SVG file and save it as a DXF file.
Or say which one you want to use some one will convert it for you, And you will find sometimes using SVG is better then DXF.

thanks for the info. I cant open SVG so I guess I will need to down load Inkscape or QCAD and figure out how to convert. Thanks again.
