1969 mustang corbra jet
Ok I've been working on this file for two nights and can't seem to get the wheel and wheel opening to look right. I'm sharing what I have so far along with the pictures I used for reference. If some of you very talented artist can help I'll be very appreciative. After two years I'm still having problems with getting some of my custom drawing to look as good as yours.
Thanks
Rick

Try one of these. There are three versions in the same file.

Re: 1969 mustang corbra jet
Julie do you use the Bezier curve tool to put the small lines in ? I really love the one with all the all the body lines. I noticed it is in 2 layers and I'm having a problem combining the two. I've never drawn anything in layers, can I use the file as is and select multiple layers in sheetcam or do I need to ?

You're welcome! I use b-spine in Corel for everything.
I don't remember putting the open paths on a different layer but may have. If you cut it in layers, cut the open cut paths first then the closed cut paths. Easier to do it all in one layer though.

Re: 1969 mustang corbra jet
I would pick which one I want to cut, delete the others, and save as a new file.
Some times combining open and closed paths will cause double cuts in SheetCam. If you just put them both on the same layer you should be fine.
Sorry for the double post. I am on my phone.

Re: 1969 mustang corbra jet
it looks like all the open lines (body lines) are on their own later, and the closed lines (body lines) and perimeter are on another. FWIW, this is how I handle files with open lines, as well. I'll name each layer in the drawing (usually "perimeter" and "open lines"), then import into Sheetcam. Sheetcam will show both layers, so you can then pick each layer and apply the appropriate cut options (no overcut/lead-in/lead-out on the open line layer, for instance).little blue choo wrote:Julie do you use the Bezier curve tool to put the small lines in ? Re: 1969 mustang corbra jet
I didn't know what size you planned to cut it so I just drew all the lines. I'm glad you were able to get it adjusted and cut. Can't wait to see pictures.
