When you cut a file like this are you meant to kerf it?

I only set the kerf value when i am doing stuff that have measurements or holes i need lined up etc. just wondering what other people do

For a lot of artistic stuff I don't bother unless the cutouts are going to be small in which case adjusting for the kerf is needed to make it look proper or keep things held together in the design.
