Curious what you mean by "correct offsets".

I haven't had time to play with the test tabs yet. Those of you who plasma cut these from 3/16", did you have to adjust the clearances at all? With 3 degrees of taper, on 3/16" it looks like about .010 of clearance would need to be added.

I added closer to .015 and lots of the Dogbones  to the tops ; took out a lot of the holes. Just need to get started on the clamps and make a mess I mean nest.
My top is going to be 3/16 as well. I have not cut anything for it yet but I sure like cutting this thickness. Got one piece to Finnish first to pay for it. 170./188. Ouch.

I cut the toggle clamp and the push clamp with a laser and they turned out great. I did have to open the holes up .005 on the toggle clamp to fit the 3/8 bolts in. but they are great files, thanks again hemichargersrt8!

I am looking forward to cutting this. I have plasma cam 311. I cut some test pieces an the tabs inserts were to small. I think it might be because I was clicking on the inside when converting to cut path. if i click outside the i have the lead in cut. any help on what settings should be. thanks for any help. I am new to this just got table a month ago. thanks so much to Hemi. what a grate file he has shared.

Hello Vanquish, maybe try and cut this sample piece. If possible, use the same thickness of material that you want the finished part to be made of. After cutting, measure the cut part as accurately as possible (digital caliper). The outside profile should measure 4 inches x 4 inches. The inside profile should measure 2 inches x 2 inches. To check to see if the table axis are square, the part should measure 5.657 inches from corner to corner. If the sample part is different, you will need to adjust cutter kerf compensation in your software.

Once again, the generous folks here on the PlasmaSpider forums have blown my mind.
I need a welding table badly - so I figured I'd have a look around on the forum and see what other folks have done for a DIY setup.
hemichargersrt8 goes way above and beyond and posts up a beauty of a tab-and-slot setup.

I was just drooling over this the other day and was ready to plop down the cash.
I didn't think air plasma would be capable of this sort of thing.
Have a look here - this is a commercially available kit that is laser cut.

Now I can make my own!
THANK YOU!
