Garden Stakes

Post by storiesnsteel »

I downloaded some garden stakes from here a while ago but put them in an oval instead of square so you just take a piece of 3/16 round about 12 inches long works well

tried 3 times to load the dxf maybe someone could help with that.

Here is your file in dxf. The font may be a little too skinny for most plasma but that is easily changeable.

Im not sure about others on here but I do get tired of posting files and the vultures swoop in and grab the files without so much as a thanks. Its not about an ego thing its about a wee bit of appreciation for a shared file. I don't post near the files that I used to on here just because of that. I see some awesome files that members obviously spent a lot of time on and are good enough to share and never a thanks. Sad really

I'm convinced that there are at least 20 "bots" that people have running that just download anything with a .dxf and then they sort through them once a week for the ones they want to cut and sell without one smidgen of appreciation. It's the old 80/20 rule for people in any group/clan/club; proven time and time again. Those are the same Oblivians and Sheeple that will screw up any of the generosity and good in people.

I did download the garden stakes from here a while ago but pulled out the file and put my own touch to it and reposted them as revised by me. I have posted lots of things on the forum that people have altered and reposted. I look forward to seeing parts of my work show up from time to time incorporated into something even better and that is what I feel thus forum is at least in part is all about. Thanks to all that responded to my post and it is encouraging to see that others have the same thoughts. Thanks so much and have a great weekend folks.

one more correction I made the slots a smidge big so 1/4 round rod will work the best for the stakes

We have been finding that customers contact us asking for simiar idea based off a google search. Then of course they ask for it to be customized. At the same or lower price if course.

I get a lot of the same thing they will pick one of my files then want their name or something custom for the same price. I always say art work starts at 30 dollars and goes from there.
