Thanks very much Larry, appreciated.

The first thing I did was Google, typed in "Facebook Lizardking geodesic firepit". Got several results but all dead links, no doubt from last time when the lizard "ran away" from everyone.

But with all the links that came up, what I did see is that the firepit is EVERYWHERE

That 1st sentence is going to floor a few people. Now you are saying you never really researched this whole matter. How many months and how many people has it took for you to remove your incredibly thick skin, and actually THINK.

Despite all the information being given you FEEL like you have done nothing wrong. All along it's appeared you have been controlled more by what you want and your FEELINGS, rather than by what you are legally allowed to do.

You needed to be beat up (plenty). If things were the other way around and I tried to rip you off of $400 you'd want to have a go at me too. I wouldn't come back at you so hard but this whole thing started when I politely asked you for some SPECIFICS and REAL PROOF of your claim, and your response was to attack me and start spouting all sorts of lies about how I've been begging you for your easy design (I have such hard time drawing pentagons and hexagons and placing a pattern inside - erh that was sarcasm by the way).

Now you need to consider if you have committed FRAUD with your customers. I don't know what basis you have charged your customers for the "RIGHT" to make money off the firepits but if it's based on you having the sole rights to the design, you've actually ripped them off.

As a show of my gratitude for you attacking me and spouting lies about me, I might even look into contacting whatever department deals with small fraudsters and see if they want to sit down for a cup of coffee with you.

Twisted and I have been following each other for a number of years, and he always seems to be a step ahead of us. He is a great metal artists but never claims to be,,, "He is just having fun" He is a great artist and a cool dude.
My comment on his post doesn't determine when I started my design.
What my comment does show is that I was working on something similar before the picture was posted.
Maybe we were influenced by the same metal art world we are in.
My determination came from a request for a fire pit in 2013. Influenced by artist like fire pit gallery and a couple others making the hand cut steel balls, geodesic homes, and a post I once seen of a young man that made a solid geodesic sphere. I think he was making a BBQ pit. I wish I remember his name. I think I can find it.
2014 I mostly finalize my design just needed a theme and because of a job I was working on and lack of money I could not work on protype until 2015. The person the requested a fire pit could not afford what I wanted to build. "we don't do square plane designs".
My dated cad files will show I worked on my design before twisteds post. Not Influenced by his, but definitely admired.
Never the less I'm sure haters will still hate, but please don't twist my words. It is what it is.
