Re: Bull head
I am not a 100% sure what a Brahman Bull is but there are few bull heads on the forum, just do a quick search you will find them.
Maybe put up a JPG of this bull.

started to work with your bull head but I need something that is not a wire frame if you understand that. this needs to be about a 30 inch circle with a brahman bull head. its going on a gate.
thanks

Re: Bull head
Whats wrong with buzzedart bull head? Looks great. Its 10 seconds from being ready to cut. It is in a ring. Scale it to 30" and Ta-Da! its ready to cut. If you want it solid, fill the space between the lines. Maybe I am missing something on this one.

Re: Bull head
I had no problems modifying it. Took a few mins to get it adapted for how I would cut it but that is half the fun with this site. Take a concept, idea, or drawing and modify it for your use. Make it, post it, and let someone else run with it as well. We are all in this together and while I don't use plasma this site still has a wealth of information for water and laser guys as well.

Re: Bull head
What cutting software do you use. Is the basic design posted above what you are looking for or are you looking for something totally different? If the drawing above is too detailed you should be able to go into your cutting software and delete out some of the detail. I use PlasmaCam and it is simple to edit drawings. Are you wanting a more solid cut out without as much detail? Let us know what cutting software you use and what editing software you have such as AutoCad or Corel and I am sure somebody here can help you edit the drawing.

Re: Bull head
See if this is more like what you want. I work in wood, and I must modify most of the art to keep from just falling apart when I cut them.

Re: Bull head
Thanks Larry. I guess he can't see it is the same file. He must think you cut on both sides of a line and not on the line (or on one side). I enjoy helping but this one is so simple.

Re: Bull head
sorry guys, I am new to this stuff. I finally figured it out. IT will be a solid cut out, Ibroke the lines so pieces would not fall out so they will just be lines cut ine the plate for detail, hope ya'll can understand that. it took me hours. I have Torchmate Cad. I have used Autocad since the DOS days, but need to learn how to edit art work withit. There has to be some way to do this faster, as I said I am a Newbie.
Thanks again this site is GREAT

Re: Bull head
Derick, if you used AutoCad since the DOS days as have I, you can import the DXF into cad do your editing on it and WBLOCK into a DXF again and import into your torchmate software, it work just great, that is what I do also. I find AutoCad works the best for me, that is only because it is all I use. It will take time and training to use new software, as for anything for that matter. Also I find when you draw into AutoCad it makes a lot less nodes than other software out there, les nodes = smoother runing machine + nicer cuts. Have fun and keep on learning, this is lots of fun.ssderick wrote:sorry guys, I am new to this stuff. I finally figured it out. This is the one on top in the first post. Thanks to the original poster! Be aware that this is not cuttable, but here is the whole bull file that was posted.
