Jeep tail light cover

Post by ironhorse »

Has anyone out there in CNC land had the opportunity to design a jeep tail light cover? I've got one drawn out but having issues with the screw hole location to get an exact fit. Please help.

There are some variation in them between early wranglers, the newer wranglers, Cherokees, etc. Do you have a tail light on hand? Could you not take some calipers to the screw holes and get a pretty good fit from there?

I think I have some drawn up for old (TJ/YJ) and new(JK) Wranglers. I'll check when I have more time and get back.

Thank you. I need to invest in calipers I guess. If you want to share those templates please email brownell@mcsnet.ca

Thanks . One I'm doing is 2015 wrangler.

One of those just might work perfect. Thank you. I see some difference between them. Are they for different years? Take care and happy cutting.

I have done many Jeep tail light covers that fit from 76-06 and 07-present. I am attaching a clean dxf of both styles with holes just add your art work as required. I hope this is helpful to the community.

So far all of mine have been 3d printed but will still work with laser, plasma , water jet, etc. I'd think.
