Self Locking Latch w/ Padlock Capabilities

Here is a change I made to a latch I got from this site that I altered for my entry gate builds. What I added was the ability to lock the latch with a padlock, on the bottom bracket it would be the second hole from left to right which when the latch is closed one could loop the lock through all three holes. I will try to remember to post pictures of the gate latch when I get a chance, I have a gate at p coat now so whenever it is done. Thanks for the original file.

I said I would post an image of how it looks with the lock and here it is. Don't mind the shovel handle and the spring is not attached to the bottom hole yet but honestly when it is placed this way you do not need the spring.

modified this a bit and made it to accept a 1" roundbar to use as a latch on a tilt deck trailer. also made it to where a pin can lock it in the open position, and the very bottom hole towards the outside of the base tab is for a piece of 1/2" round bar to get welded into as a stopper for the middle piece of the latch and to keep the sides spaced properly.
