I do not want to sound ungratefull for the share but I found a few issues with the file. I do not know if the JPG is showing up or not but here goes. If you use parts 1 & 2 the bottom will not fit because the slots for the bottom ears would end up in the grill slots. I you use parts1,2,3 &4 there are no slots in &4 for the ears of the bottom and it looks to me that you would only have 3 legs. Part #2 is also missing the slots for the top grill. I decided that I would like it to be longer so I extended so it is about 19 x 30 . OK, thissideup ( or anybody ) show me where I messed up.

kevin

I ended up attaching the explanation picture as a pdf because I could not get a jpg to up load and I had to do the dxf as 2 because of the file size.

Looking at it, my take on it is that if your making the firepit as a raised firepit with feet you use 2 of part 1, 2 of part 3 and 1 each of part 6 as the base and part 5 as the grill.

If you are building a dirt floor pit then you would use 2 of part 2 for the ends and 2 of part 4 for the sides.

I haven't cut one but might have to now to see if it's that simple.

Im confuse, but there is two pits there as Murray suggested, one dirt floor and one with raised front, sides and floor. keep in mind you have to bend the sides so the tabs line up.

I just finished cutting one fire pit. Suggestion only, the slots are.91 long making it very difficult to fit the tabs through so in my file I have made them all 1.10"long.Great file & thank you very much.

Here is my larger version. I opted to weld it and I added the chickens, duck and goose ( removable ) because my wife wanted it for farm and I thought they would give it more of a farm atmosphere.

Does anyone have an estimated weight on this? Apparently these Jeep guys are very sensitive about their weight.
