Plates for welding leads reel
Need a 10" Circle for the leads to roll up on and a 2 3/8" circle in the middle of it for the pipe to roll on.
I can draw the 2 3/8" circle, but I can not get the outside circle to be 10"
Thanks,
Carol

Carol - draw the smaller circle and convert to curves. Draw the larger circle and also convert to curves. Highlight the smaller circle using the pick tool and hit the "P" key. This will center that circle to the center point of your layout. Do the same with the larger circle. Highlight both circles, using the pick tool, and combine. I did this in CorelDraw.

Here's how I did it, using Deltacad:
Make a point. All this is for is to be the center of both circles.
Make a circle from the center point, with a radius of 1.1875".
Make another circle from the same center point, with a 5" radius.
Save, and upload to Plasmaspider.

Yep, this is one of those (many) jobs that are just easier in CAD versus an artsy program.

Re: Plates for welding leads reel
In Corel, draw a circle, hold the CTRL button while you draw it so it is perfectly round, don't worry about the size. Once drawn, size it by entering in the size in the sizing box. 2.375" If it doesn't size equally, hit undo and make sure the paddle-lock icon is selected so it keeps everything proportionate while you size and try again.
Then draw another circle, do the same and size it to the larger size. 10"
Then select both circles using the pick too.
Then open your alignment tool docker --- go to Arrange -> Align & Distribute -> and select "Align and Distribute" on the bottom. Select the horizontal CENTER and vertical CENTER check boxes on the flyout and hit enter and your done.
Export to DXF.
Hopefully the drawing below will help.
