Newbie in distress-Animal Hospital Sign

Post by Scott F. »

Hello,

I'm in the process of building a 5? x 5? plasma table with a Precision Plasma V rail gantry and CandCNC Ether-Cut Mark IV electronics... Just as it goes at times my dog got real sick and I took her to the vet and ran up a huge bill! As I was talking to the vet he said that he would be moving into a new building in the next few months. He asked me what type of work that I did so I told him that I do all types of metal work and that I was building a plasma table. He said can you make a metal sign for my new building? Of course, I said yes and thought this would be a great time to try to barter a little. I?m new at this and would appreciate some help if anyone has some extra time to help me out with this project. The 58" diameter sign needs to be in layers maybe three? Not real sure how to do this and keep all the original logo colors in place.

Thanks,
Scott

I wish I were skilled enough to help . . . :(

If you hit a wall you may want to contact one of the guys that do custom work.

Sounds like the sign could help you with your vet bill big time.

Hope your little gets better . . . .

What I would do because I'm not artistic enough to try and draw the animals faces:

Go to Signtorch.com and see if they have a cat a dog face that the vet would be happy with. Can he accept something different to what's on the pdf file. If he can that make things a lot easier. You've got a circle, some lettering and some ready made graphics, and they just need welding together.

Scott,
I gotta say publicly thanks for the help man. Scott and I have been going back and forth with emails for almost 2 months now as we are both building PPCLLC V rail tables. He really got me going as I was just putzing along and working here and there on my table. Since Scott has been helping me with ideas and such I now have put my other side projects on hold and concentrating my efforts on my table. Thanks again. Sorry for the side track highjack.

I agree, a simpler shillohette cat and dog might be easier.
