Guys, I haven't yet been able to contribute much here, but here is a little thing you can cut out of scrap.
I give these away when I have them available. This of course, has my product logo, but you can change that or remove it altogether.
I have been cutting these out of stainless and they finish out well.

The text and lines are engraved on these. A plate marker would do it well too.
Have fun with it and feel free to use it in any fashion you want.

Here is a little better version I think.
It doesn't bend the caps as bad. I took the basic opener shape from a known good opener.
