Need help. Iwo Jima, WWI, Fallen Soldier for memorial

Post by adamsfab »

Hey guys and gals,
I have been asked to contribute to a local veterans memorial, and would love to help out. They are looking for something that symbolizes WWI, WWII (Iwo Jima), and the modern "fallen soldier". I am not very good at design, and don't want to mess this up, so if any of you fine people could help with some designs, I would appreciate it. This piece is going to be on display here locally, and I will definitely take some pictures of the final product and share them here. Anyone who helps will be given credit if they so desire, just send me the info you would like displayed.
Thank you,
Rich Adams.

I noticed someone posted an Iwo Jima file here in 2010, but the DXF file is missing. Would anyone happen to have that?
Thanks, Rich.

Thanks Larry. That was it.
Does anyone have any ideas on an image that would represent WWI?
Maybe an old tank, or bi-plane?

Iwo Jima didn't open for me. Anyone else having an issue with it? Could be just me.

Here is the piece I added to the larger memorial.
The full thing is not done yet, but I will update when it is finished.
Thanks for the help.
Sorry the pics upside down.

looks great. cool file thanx for the share. reguarding the pic posting upside down; computers do some of the stupidesterest est est things sometimes and there is no reasoning with them and there r times i just want to smash or shoot mine but i cant cuz i need it. it wud be cool and good therapy to have a shooting range where old comuters and cell phones or what ever technology vexing someone can have a semiconductive upgrade with alot of lead squirted at it from the business end of a cross hair. doh!
