Problem with plunge.

Post by tjkent »

I just bought a used Tracker Pro 4x8. Trying to get it set up to cut and when I turn on the Plunge feature the torch just tries to drill into the material. If I leave the plunge off and place the torch tip close to the material it will create an arc and cut the design. I am using Command & Cut 3.5. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I am still a newbie. Only played with my used tracker but if I remember right? I think when I had that issue at first it had to do with the avc . I clicked the box to shut it off till I got used to the machine better. Still practicing yet.

I've been talking to Justin at Tracker and he has been very helpful. I now have a properly functioning plunge. Now I just have to tweak everthing and get used to the software.

I haven't been using it lately as I am moving it into another building. Once it is up and running again I hope to start making some money with it and will post some pics of what I make. Thanks. :D

Thank you for all of your help. I am loving my system. Unfortunately I work full time and don't get mush time to use it but, here a few of the things that I have cut with the help of all of the wonderful people on this site.
