THC on by default

The default state for the THC is off at startup.

Anyone know how to make the default state ON?

My only idea so far is to put a macro in the initialisation string.

"startTHC ()" is the comand which works.

Depends on the THC and if it has an associated plugin. Also if you use SheetCAM which POST.

No not using a plugin, not using a post.

Just would like Mach3 to start up with THC enabled.

Thought there might be a trick.

Never mind I will use a macro in the initialisation string.

did you buy a license for Mach 3 the demo version will not work with the THC.

Yes I have been using Mach3 for about 8 or 9 years now.

dose your screen have the THC button when using another THC in the past the THC light had to be on.

Yes that's the one I am talking about.

And yes it must be ON for THC to operate, with my setup.

Default state upon Mach3 start up is OFF.

I would like it to be ON.

Have accomplished that with a macro in the initialisation string. This turns it on when resetting.

So I am happy now. Just wondered if there was another way to make it to default to ON.

But it is a bit of a moot point, as it is doing what I want now.
