Draw dimension problem

Hey guys,
Having some problems trying to draw a dimension,
Everytime I boot up the pc and design edge, it
I go to draw dimension by clicking my 2 point, it then does nothing
Then the option to draw a dimension goes away.

Any ideas?

If you are drawing dimensions, you have to select a font first.
If you mean you are scaling a drawing to a specific size, you click the points and type in the size in inches.
