I have two plasmacam tables and I just called and they no longer provide technical support.

I know this is an old thread but....I've been trying to buy the designedge software from plasmacam now for a month and I can't even get them to give me a quote or anything. I honestly believe plasmacam is a one-deep shop and the one person running/owning it is retired and done with us. SAD.

That sounds a little far fetched. What machine do you own, did you buy it new or properly transfer ownership of a used machine?

Did you email the transfer form signed by the previous owner???

It took them 8-10 days to do mine recently, but I had to call and ask to be transferred to tech support. This was after no progress with a couple of emails.

Also they didn't notify me that the transfer was complete. I found out by going to the owners forum and entering my email and serial number. Try that and if it doesn't work call tech support.

On the owners forum there is a section where you can buy upgrades. The end of last year they had a 20% off deal.

Lol, yes they're alive and well - just did a shit job of letting their customers know they were discontinuing support on the decade+ old machines/software. They are still selling software and hardware upgrades for the DHC machines but the old 98-Z machines are just obsolete.
