Inkscape to Torchmate

Post by runninwild400 »

Is there any way to open a file that was made in inkscape? Whenever I do its just an unusable mess. I'm trying to trace a logo that doesn't trace well at all in torchmate but I can get a not bad result from inkscape but can't open it in torchmate. Any suggestions?

Importing should be fine, what file format and how are you exporting from Inkscape? Sometimes the export format is what it causing the problem, you may want to try several different types to see if one of those works better. I found the earlier versions of autocad export tend to work better when exporting into TM.
