Tool in X7 to "push" lines apart?

Post by motoguy »

I'm not sure if such a thing exists, but I thought I'd ask. I'm doing some detail work on a design. In the attached photo, I'm wanting to cut the "inside" of the jagged line. The area in which the orange circle is located. The circle is my .06" kerf width. As you can see, some of the "branches" are thinner than the kerf width.

Is there a tool that will allow me to drag the orange circle through the branches, and automatically 'stretch" the branches to the .06" kerf width? Basically, I'm wondering if I can use my circle (kerf width) to "push" the other lines open, so my kerf width will fit.

Thanks!

I went from X5 to X8 which I think was worth while, I think most only upgrade every two or three versions. I have three seats so upgrading every version gets a bit expensive.
