general torch settings for an older Tracker CnC

Post by rustygirl »

Hello. We have an older Tracker model CNC, we did an upgrade to it aprox 4-5 years ago and added a machine torch head. We have been having a lot of issues and would love to know what some of these are...so we can possible work out our issues. Right now the torch head drops, rises, pierces but does not lower to cut height right away.
pierce delay
lead out delay
dwell delay
pierce offset
Thank you

i have found that the guys at tracker are great to deal with. Has the machine been working well and problems just start or has it been getting progressively worse. Check and make sure z axis is clean and moves freely. If its gummed up or a little sticky it will cause issues.
