I have a bunch of nozzles for my hypertherm 45m torch.
Trying to cut 1/4 inch material foes not penatrate at book specs.
I haven't seen any different part number to order other than what I have.
TrI'd slowing down and different voltages.hmm.

I didn't think Fine cut was rated for 1/4". According to my manual for a 65, 45amp finecut goes to 10 gauge, less than half the thickness.

The other item to check is if they are legit and not knock off/counterfit consumables.

I have only bought hypertherm consumables.
Kinda funny about using factory parts on all my equipment.

The operators manual lists all of the available parts for the Powermax45. There are no Finecut parts for this system. Finecuts are designed for thin gauge with a maximum thickness of 10 gauge (1/8")....so they would not help on 1/4" anyway. Here are the available mechanized consumables. Be sure the part numbers you have match up with these. The Powermax45 will have no trouble piercing and cutting up through 1/2" steel. If you cannot penetrate 1/4" then you may have the wrong consumables, you may have a bad work cable (check connections for continuity), or you could have a missing or damaged torch oring or low inlet air pressure.
