Device to Measure Cut Length of a Hand Drawing
Does anyone know if there is a small device to measure the length of your cut on a hand-drawn pattern?

are made by Alvin or Scalex. These will give you the ability to follow your shapes and give you the inches of cut. Marty

I guess my cutlengths by knowing the elaspsed time my 'flashcut cnc' software displays, times the cut speed, 6min 14sec (/60) [6.233 min]*50im or 311.5 inches approximately. Since this is to scale- less time for smaller size and less detail to more time for larger highly detailed designs.

you could try and find one of these, I use to use them when I was measuring jobs for work (off maps).
Cheers Johno

You could use one of these. Just take the handle off.
