Plate markers

Hello everone in have seen all of you awsome work. recently I have been seeing platemarkers and cool stuff done with them, but I don?t know hardly any thing about them. So can you all help me know how to make one and how they work within a cutting process?

i am running a precision cutting system 4x8 with mach 3 plaz and a powermax 1000 with machine torch and oxy torch
