Woundering what gauge material works best for fire pits and BBQs.
I want to make some small portable grills that can be knocked down. So I don’t want them to be to heavy.
Is 12 gauge to thin?
Fire Pit BBQ what gauge material is good

I used to make about 25 wood bbq pits a day during busy season. All 11GA steel with same thickness for the towers and grills. Cutting board frames were 1.5x1.5 x .065 thick box tubing. No miters either hammer in plastic end caps to speed up production.
