Hi all and thanks for what you do on the site. I have a question regarding nesting software and controllers. Currently our shop uses ProNest from hypertherm for our nesting and controller needs, we are upgrading our equipment in the very near future to a messer machine which has it's own control, the messer global control.
Can anyone here speak to the differences in the 2 and what will it take on our end as a company to switch all of our files, 10000+ from ProNest over to Global Control? We work from .dxf files and send the cut files to the machines as .cnc

Re: Hypertherm ProNest vs. Messer Global Control
The Global Control is from Messer Cutting Systems Inc., I think the best answer to your question will come from Messer. You should be able to continue using Pro-Nest with the Messer machine, and that is what I strongly recommend. Jim Colt Hypertherm
