Plasmacam disconnecting from plasma cutter mid cut...

I have used this machine for 10 years and never came across this issue before. It is not a computer disconnect error from interference, I have dealt with that multiple times. I think somehow the trigger signal to the plasma cutter is being interrupted as I can start a cut but it stops cutting mid-cut every time. I am using a Hypertherm Powermax 1000. Has anybody ran across this issue before?

Its unlikely the plasma cutter is losing the trigger signal. My guess is your air pressure is dropping to low after the air has flowed for a short time and the plasma cutter is shutting the arc down despite the trigger signal being still active. Plugged air filter is a common cause of this. Have a pressure gauge on your incoming line to the plasma cuter to check?

What error message are you getting on the Plasmacam operator screen?
