New plasma table

Postby Akcrawler » Sun Feb 04, 2018 4:51 am

Looking to build my own plasma table. I already have a thermal dynamics cut master 52. Can build my own table since I Live in AK and shipping one up here would be expensive. So basically I need the gantery and electronics. Im very green to this and any info or links would be appreciated.

Having built a table from scratch to my own design, it sounds simple but it is not a trivial project if your goal is to produce a commercial quality table. I started with the Z axis because I thought it was the hardest part to build and if I could build it, the rest was a walk in the park.

My abbreviated build in need of an update viewtopic.php?f=103&t=22826
Much more info on the LinuxCNC forum. Just search for "spaceship plasma" there.
