Hello, new member here.

Post by Ironken »

New member here. Just wanted to introduce myself to the community.

I just picked up a small Swifty plasma table and am still working my way through Draftsight and Inkscape....
I'm kinda clueless with CAD. I needed the table to cut parts for some assemblies I build for a company I do work for as a side gig.

Hello!

Welcome to the forum, lots of good information here! I'm not an inkscape user but there are plenty here that should be able to help if you hit a snag.

It is a 2x2 hobby machine. They do not train on CAD but have videos on their CAM programs. Welders Supply in Louisville, KY sells these tables if you are in the US.
