Teaching my 8 year old Granddaughter how to run my equipment. I showed her how to lay out a box...... notch it and bend it in my finger brake. She also tig welded and used a spot welder to weld some tabs on a couple of projects that she cut out on my CNC plasma cutter. Taught her how to use a bandsaw and my lathe. Had her drill some holes on my drill press, use a grinder and a belt sander. She really amazed me when I started showing her software like Adobe Photo shop and Paint.....very smart girl. My Dad taught me how to weld when I was 15......thought I'd break her in early

I love time with my granddaughter also. Don't they just amaze you. When I was her age I was making mud pies and the sad part is I was tasting them! They pick up on things so quickly. Enjoy her why you can my friend. Make many memories for one day when they're grown that's all we'll have.
