Stainless steel dross

Has anyone found an easy way to remove dross from stainless steel? I've tried grinding it off, but I have a job that requires a smooth surface. Thanks

Angle die grinder with a sanding roloc discs polishes my edges up to a near-mirror finish. Grinder is too aggressive.

Haven't found a good way but if someone knows of a good tumbler media to remove it; i'm all ears.
I just cut some 16g (i think) SS at 38amps at 201ipm and there was hardly any dross at all. I get lucky every once in a while like that, the rest of the times its a crap shoot
