Marking /Piercing holes using Bobcad

Post by Mtw fdu »

As the heading suggests.

Need to do this to create holes used for key chains etc. Instead of just marking it needs to make a pierce the size of a normal pierce hole.

Any suggestions would be appreciated greatly.

I would think you could just put a tiny circle in your drawing. Make it smaller than your kerf width and it should just pierce. (I don't use BobCad and I have a Bulltear table.)

Never mind guys. I had Bobcad ring me this morning at 2.30 am Australian time and they walked me through the process.

It was easier than I first thought.

Thanks for your input djreiswig.

There is a mill/drill setting in Bobcad which I did not know about. Needed to use this and it worked.

I thought the same as you however it wasn't even close. I also needed it to have no lead in and the rest to have a lead in.
