Several different catagories of FONTS that could be what you are looking for can be found here - -

signature cursive handwriting handwritten

Check them all out perhaps what you want is there.

Hi Larry.
Thanks for showing me where to find cursive fonts, I tried to download one and it wouldn't convert to a dxf file for me for some reason. Am I missing something?

I like http://dafont.com and they have so many great fonts.

How to get the font into a DXF depends on what program you're using. I use Corel.

The steps in Corel to convert a font to DXF are simple:
1. Type what you want, size it, and put it in place.
2. "Convert to curves"
3. Clean up the font. This involves reducing and cleaning up the nodes.
4. Bridge any characters with drop outs.
5. Select all and "combine".
6. Save as or export as DXF.

If you use Inkscape, the commands may have different names. Corel Draw is all I use and I'm not sure about the other programs.
Julie's the name, DXF is the game. http://robinhillmachine.com

After you download any font you must install it before you can use it in ANY program. Just open the font you downloaded and click on "install". Then when you go to the program you use to draw your files the font will be available wherever you normally go to for letters. Every program is different and basically the same, you select "letters" and then what font, how big, on an arc or straight and where you want to put it, then you just type in what you want it to say and GO! Almost all the programs use these same or similar wording in some order or another to put TEXT into your drawing.
Hope this helps you the next time you want to add text to something you are working on. :D :D :D

I am very new to this and can't seem to get font styles to change to dxf formats. I will have to spend some time and figure it out. Thanks for the input, maybe at some point I'll get better at this! Would you be willing to do it for me and I can send an etransfer for the file?

Unfortunately I don't have a program at home that can show the file. I'll check first thing tomorrow at work. Thank you so much for doing that for me. I will post my final piece when I'm done.

Thanks again,
Ryan

You may want to try Inkscape its free and will convert any font loaded on your system. You can do the normal things like putting in shapes of on shapes. Many Youtube videos to show how to do all kinds of thing with it.
Another free program is irfanview if you get the DXF add on you can click on any DXF file to see what it looks like.
https://www.google.com/#q=irfanview
It attaches its own Icon to the files looks like a flat cat

Also look into a program called Stencil Fonts. It converts any font to dxf format and will stencil for cutting if required. You don't have to stencil it though.
