Weld Button or Rose Head Nail

Post by Nacs Fab »

I have a big project where I need about 300 of the forged looking nail heads to weld on the edge of a counter top, similar to the image. Do any of you know what the industry name is for these, I would rather not buy actual rose head nails and then have to cut 300 of them down to nearly flush. What my plan was is to have a short shank to protrude through 14 gauge, then I can weld on the back side. Any help is much appreciated

I use these.

The shank actually snaps off and you can do a quick rosette thru a blind hole on the back.
