Torchmate Stutter when jogging to start cut

I am having trouble with my Torchmate stuttering or jerking when it is jogging to go to the spot where it needs to make the first pierce. Torchmate said it's mechanical but we've replaced every bearing, bushing, etc. Then they said it could be due to EMI, we put a ground rod in and that didn't help either. We've also been having issues with the first pierce then the torch picks up, stops and the plasma has a code of 0-21. We've tried a new plasma and torch head and it still happens, also checked the air pressure and it's fine. We have a Hyper-Therm 85, everyone is stumped and I'm very frustrated! Any ideas? We've had it for 4 years and its worked fine.

Perhaps your jog speed is set too high, or your acceleration is too high? Could even be a loose setscrew on a drive gear? You might try going back thru your motor tuning.

Mine did the same thing. I called tech support and they told me to change my USB data rate. There are 2 options on the drop down menu. Try the other option (mine is set to hi-speed) (FYI I am running TM 4 software)
Configuration / System / Communications -> USB Data Rate
