Starting with Ethercut

Getting close to up and running I fervently hope. Got the new SheetCam post installed in SC now I get this error message. Can somebody please explain What the problem is?

Looks like you have a bad post processor, have you tried another, Just pick one and see if it will run a post processor ok.
You may need to change a setting in the one your having a problem with

Tom says to use the Post with the latest date and this is the one. Tried the next one down and it runs a file ok but can't cut it in Mach.

Well I would say go to Tom's site and download that post processor again.
If another post processor can generate a G-code then SheetCam is ok. Since some post processors are written for an electronics package they may not run on your system. That is why Tom has written his own to be used with his electronics. If you generate a G-code for a parallel printer port and you are using ether cut electronics, it cannot talk to the table. but not

You have Fulltap = 1 set in the post options (at the top) . Unless you have the Hypertherm with the RS485 port and our HyT-Connect RS485 set that option to 0 Use the Edit Post button and make the change

Changed Fulltap to 0 and get a different error.

You need a space between the = and 0 So like this = 0 not this =0
