Thanks for letting my introduce myself. I teach HS ag mechanics and have recently completed set up and started using a Torchmate 4x4 with Flexcut 80. The learning curve was quick on the machine interface. The TM CAD was steeper but the last couple days things are making more sense. Ive probably got 40 hours tops into the whole deal.

I have browsed this online resource for a few weeks off and on while working towards implementation the 4X4 Edu package. Thanks to this community for being a resource for me as an Educator. I hope to share ideas, technology, resources, time, effort and good will. Connecting with other teachers would be awesome!!!!

I second that! I'm a HS Ag teacher as well. I got just got my table a week and a half ago, and the information shared on here has been invaluable, and one of the best resources I've found.

I am slowly collecting good cut files for Fund Raiser we are putting on to surplus material costs. Between myself and small handful of students, we have dug into the software and learned to download images, and use to create some nice pieces.

Im looking for ideas for using the 4x4 to cut details to use for small welding projects.
