Software- FastCam good?

Hello I just joined the forum. I will be purchasing my first cnc table in the next month or so. I am an engineer in the merchant marines and I own Radical Side Hydrographics in Jacksonville beach fl. I have my step son employed full time and we have decided to get a plasma table to add to the buisness. I'm sure I will have plenty of questions but the first one i would like to know is if fastcam is a good software package. Thanks
