Re: Which M3 VHB Tape to mount racks
Most don't seem to use the foam tape unless they want a gap between to the two pieces. Many use the 9495LE which is for mobile phone or electronics screens. eBay is a common place to get it -http://www.ebay.com/itm/3M-Super-Bond-3 ... 608nY75RXw
It seems like anything in the VHB line is good for this type of application. 3M has a lot of good reading material and videos on the stuff. I went looking for the brand recommended by 3M for steel and coatings and it seemed harder to find at the industrial places I looked and went back to the screen tape.

Re: Which M3 VHB Tape to mount racks
Hey,
thanks for the reply.
I´ve got a roll of the 5952 typ.
The gap of 1mm isn´t bad.
This stuff bonds like hell... In my design I have a few bolts to give the racks additional support, but with the tape, i didn´t think I need them...
