Custom Steering Wheel

Hi All,

Yeah, its been a while..... I'm going to post up some long overdue updates on what has been going on here at CPK real soon. We have finally got the inside of the new shop almost completed and its awesome!! I have also added to my metal working capabilities, again lol.

Anyways check out the custom steering wheel I just got done making. I know its not plasma but I thought it was so cool I had to share.

That thing is cool. How heaavy is it though? Will a standard steering column handle it or does it have to be beefed up?

Did you machine it all or start with a blank? Looks nice!

Its actuallly quite light. I'd say it weighs the same or less then a stock wheel.

It started out life as a 1.5 inches thick 15" round solid piece of aluminium.

It was a fun project.
