Thanks Lazybear and Larry. I spent most of my life in Decatur Illinois before taking early retirement 14 years ago and relocating to the beautiful mountains of northeast Tennessee to create high quality metal art. Used to buy metal in Cicero and the only part I liked about Chicago was 55 south! Been thru Idaho also, beautiful country but I like the climate here better. Thinking of moving to Costa Rica.

LOL, the only part I like about Chicago is that I'll be leaving it permanently soon! Headed for the mountains of Montana in 2 years or less!
Tennessee is beautiful country too. I have an aunt who lives there.

Idaho isn't bad as long as you don't HAVE to work here. Commuting in the winter is not something I wanted to do, so I moved up here after I retired 13 years ago. Love watching it snow outside as I sit by the fire! I enjoy cutting things on my machine when I want to and sitting by the fire when it's to cold to be in the shop.

I was telling my powder coater today I have enough ideas from the web to keep me busy for the next 2 years. That's why I don't do custom work. If you love what you do you'll never work a day in your life!
